APPLETON PRE Series 125 Amp Plugs and Sockets

PRE Series 125 Amp Plugs and Sockets use a pin and sleeve design to deliver safe power to stationary and portable equipment such as lighting systems, conveyors, heating and air conditioning equipment, compressors, pumps or motor generators. Suitable for use in damp, wet or corrosive environments, PRE plugs and sockets are keyed and color coded per IEC directives. The sockets are available in wall-mount, flush-mount and mobile versions.

Features

  • Positive polarization: only ATX plugs of same style, number of poles and ampere rating may be used with these sockets
  • Interlocked 3-pole or 4-pole Ex de disconnecting on-load switch, with auxiliary early break contact (capacity 2.5 mm²/0.004 in² max)
  • Plug is mechanically locked in socket when switch is ON
  • Switch operating handle can be padlocked in OFF position (max 4 padlocks )
  • Plug cannot be inserted or removed unless switch is in OFF position
  • Operating temperature of -30 °C to +55 °C (-22 °F to +131 °F)

U-Line™ Contender™ Factory Sealed 20 Amp Plugs and Receptacles feature a dead front design making them ideal for use with electrical equipment in hazardous locations. U-Line™ Factory Sealed 20 Amp Plugs and Receptacles are used with stationary or portable electrically operated devices in hazardous locations. The ECP Interchanger plug is designed with built-in switch contacts which activate when the plug is twisted into the receptacle. This design allows the ECP plug to fit into standard NEMA 5-20R and 6-20R receptacles, but does not allow standard plugs to be used with the receptacle, ensuring that only safe connections can be made in a hazardous location.
