APPLETON Areamaster™ ATEX PN Series Floodlights

The new generation of LED floodlights for Zone 1 also relies on the tried-and-tested, robust stainless steel enclosure (optionally seawater-resistant stainless steel 316L). However, thanks to their smaller design and a new generation of drivers, they weigh significantly less, thereby improving ergonomics during installation and operation. Now with three power classes and the three tried-and-tested light distribution curves, the LED floodlight generates three colours of LED light – warm white, neutral white and cold white.

The wide-range input now also meets the electrical installation conditions for global use. With an optional DALI interface, the floodlight paves the way to a digital lighting solution. Its extremely low start-up current can also support existing installations, as the circuit breakers that are already installed do not need to be replaced.

The 6001 EXLUX luminaire is suited to normal lighting applications in almost any facility. In no time at all and with very little effort, using the accessories it can be fitted to the wall, ceiling or a pole, or alternatively, it can be suspended. The practical central lock has a safety switch that disconnects the power supply at all poles when the plastic enclosure is opened. Lightweight yet strong: The high-quality workmanship makes this luminaire robust and minimises maintenance requirements.
