The Appleton™ Industrial Mercmaster™ LED Generation 3 is a full-feature lighting solution in a rugged, corrosion-resistant housing, offering a range of lumen output options 3,500 to 24,000. Also available in an Emergency Battery Backup version, it offers 90 or 180 minute modes, providing up to 1450 lumens during emergency lighting. cCSAus Certification for ordinary (unclassified) locations and a marine and wet location rating make them an efficient weatherproof fixture for harsh industrial environments. Typical applications include warehouses, storage facilities, machine shops, receiving areas, manufacturing plants, walkways and catwalks, and other areas where dust, water, dirt and rough usage are a problem
Design is suited for low mounting heights, from 7 ft., up to 30 ft.
Standard version: Nine light outputs provide up to 24,000 lumens. LED L70 reported at 60,000 hours. Emergency version: offered on the 3500 and 5500 lumen output options, provides up to 1450 lumens in 90 minute emergency mode and up to 900 lumens in 180 minute emergency mode
Choice of optics for optimal light distribution in a variety of applications: Type I, Type III, Type V or Type V Wide
Choice of color temperature (CCT): 5000K cool white, 4000K neutral white or 3000K warm white
Modular design provides thousands of combinations for maximum versatility: Standard version offers four different globe options (Emergency version offers three different globe options) and seven standard mounting hoods
Retrofit adapters for Crouse-Hinds™ and Mercmaster™ II hoods available
Hinge has high lip for added safety during installation and servicing. Hinge and bolt construction assures 360° compression at all points on fixture housing gasket for positive sealing. Swing away design of captive bolt and nut simplifies installation
Standard 6 kV surge protection, heavy duty, high temperature silicone gaskets and a rugged housing with superior thermal design translates to long luminaire life
Luminaire housing has wiring compartment with terminal block separate for easy wiring access. The standard screw-type terminal block can accept UL/CSA 26-10 AWG wire
Standard NPT threads, with M20 option on the standard version
